CodePen challenge 1/100 – Growing my YouTube channel
It all started like this:
Yep, 0 views… but they say YouTube is all about consistency, right?
Right now, I have 38 subscribers. I’ve posted 21 videos about WordPress, and I’ve received some cool comments saying my videos helped a few people out there. That’s awesome! π
I’ve been a professional web designer since 2016, but I’ve always dreamed of having a successful YouTube channel and selling online courses.
I’ve learned some cool tips and tricks over the years, and I want to document and share them with fellow developers and web designers. Maybe if I find the right format, I can consistently upload videos and grow my YouTube channel.
If people learn from the free content, maybe I’ll have a better chance of succeeding in selling online courses. To achieve that, I need to start this CodePen and YouTube challenge.
Maybe my previous tutorials weren’t that engaging, but I learned a lot about screen recording and video editing along the way.
I’ve been following the Online Tutorials YouTube channel for a long time. With over 2,500 videos posted, it has nearly 1,000,000 subscribers. That’s more than successful to me! π
So, I’ll try to draw inspiration from their format β showing my coding process and sharing the source code on CodePen.
The projects will be based on my design and animation experience and what I think looks good.
I’ll focus on learning and sharing insights about HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript.
By the end of this challenge, Iβm not sure if I’ll have more subscribers or views, but I know I’ll learn more about web design tricks and animations and become a better professional along the way.
I’ll keep updating this post until the challenge reaches 100/100. Thank you for reading! Have a great day, wherever you are in the world! π
